The two investigations of the Kayla Massingale case.

We will address the rape case first there is very little public facts to this part of the investigation other than the police are investigating and she reported the rape and in her statement she claims the assailant lives on highway 413.

The second investigation is the death of Kayla Massingale  and we are not even sure the police are investigating this part.  There is some circumstantial evidence the two investigations may not even be connected this is why it is a must to know who she was with the day and night she was found unresponsive.

I think by combining the two investigations it is hindering finding out who she was with that day and night. When we can find out who she was with then some serious questions can be asked and this case will be cracked wide open.

To the good people of Coldiron

There are people in Coldiron  that knows who Kayla Massingale was with on the day and night she was found unresponsive you owe it to your community to come forward . As of today the rumors are running rampant  with the truth hidden within.

I have traveled through Coldiron There is no way nobody knows who Kayla was with that day and night there are too many eyes from US119 to cliff Branch road. Like I have said if you want to say something and remain  anonymous simply go to the website click on report news  and use a fake name and email address.

We pretty much have determined where Kayla’s car is it is either in the junk yard or hidden somewhere. I think more important than her car was her cell phone common sense would tell you she would not have walked up cliff branch road with out her phone. Who ever has that phone is who she was with that day or night.

If the police were interested they could get the phone records and see where that phone pinged that whole day and night after she had been found . The only thing we can do at this point is to ask the good people of Coldiron to step up come forward   and say what they know.

Update on Kayla Massingale’s car

This information is coming from anonymous tips and with holding with the rules of the groups we will not mention names instead we will refer to individual one.

According to our tips individual one claims Kayla’s car was sold to him and he supposed to have a receipt.

But this next information does not come from tips but by way of personal knowledge individual one has been known to tow peoples cars without permission of the owner then charge a outrageous price to release the car.

Here is how the law works on cars left beside the road unless it is red tagged by the police no car can be towed without permission of the owner.

Did the Kentucky State Police drop the ball in the Kayla Massingale case

(COLDIRON, Ky. (WTVQ) – The death of a 31-year-old Harlan, Ky., woman is being investigated by the Kentucky State Police, but troopers say they don’t suspect foul play.)

Here is the thing once a police department determines there has been no crime and or foul play there is no investigation that continues.

(Following an autopsy, no foul play is suspected in Massingale’s death, according to the KSP.)
Again here is the thing an autopsy is a public  record open to anyone that wants it and if the Kentucky State police had a preliminary autopsy report why was it not made public in conjunction with Kentucky law.

Here is where things get confusing one a determination of death is determined such as homicide, accidental, natural, or suicide, unknown. In most cases if the cause of death is other than unknown a  preliminary autopsy report is released to police and to the public.

If the cause of death is unknown there usually is a long drawn out process waiting for the Toxicology report. In this case there is no doubt the injuries and physical condition of the body has been documented. The only part of the autopsy that could remain is the Toxicology report and that is where they get the autopsy could take months.

There is a lot more I could comment on but not knowing some of the facts like was she half dressed and other things when they found her I can not comment further at this time.

Keys to cracking the Kayla Massingale case.

My friends I have read everything I can find on this case but the most important time frame is what happened from the time Kayla left the police station to the time they found her and believe me there are people in Harlan that knows these facts.

When was last time Kayla was seen driving her car who did she talk to in the above time frame what did she tell them. The last 48 hours up to the time she was found is the most important.  Crimes are never solved by police alone they are solved by people coming forward. A lot of cases are solved by anonymous tips if anybody wants to speak out and stay anonymous simply go to the report news on our website and use fake name and email address and tell us what you know.     Justice for Kayla Massingale

Justice for Kayla Massingale

This article is written from personal knowledge I know of three females who have reported rape to police two are dead and one is still alive. Talk of the town says these three females were drug users which brings to question is law enforcement allowing drug dealers to run rough shod over victims. when it comes to allegations of rape.

Drug addictions comes in all walks of lives and they are victims but they should not be victimized again  by society when they report allegations of rape. Harlan county does not have a great reputation when it comes to equal justice under the law but we can change this.

Too many times in rural America females are treated like second class citizens we must demand the truth and a public accounting so we can get justice for Kayla Massingale.

Cranks Creek KY then and now series part one.

Cranks Creek is a small community that has never been incorporated why means no mayor so on and so forth. Cranks Creek in its hay day was a bustling little community with a grade school one store which doubled as a post office and one little restaurant. The boundary of Cranks creek is from the top of Crummies mountain to the Virginia line.

The majority of jobs in Cranks Creek were coal mining jobs there was some farming and very few tobacco field. Most of the mines in Cranks were what we call dog hole mines they were own by locals and employed fifteen miners or less the bigger mine companies did not move in till the late 80s and 90s. These dog hole mines paid low wages with no health insurance or pensions.

One of he pioneers to mining in Cranks Creek was Elihu Bailey in the 1950s he moved to the head of what is now called Cranks Creek hollow and lived in a tent. Elihu would go on to run a number of mines for local owners. Local folk lore was told that Elihu moved so much his chickens knew when he was going to move so they laid down and stuck their feet in the air so they could be tied and moved easily.

Back in the early days of Cranks Creek it was shut off from the outside towns and rail ways so the men of Cranks Creek got together and hand built a wagon road from what is now called troublesome to rose hill Virginia which connected to the rail head in Virginia . To this day the road exist and at the top of the mountain a hand chiseled tunnel remain through the cliff rock.

This is part one of a series On Cranks Creek history then and now.
